Learned that Sekend Sun is closed now, so I'm writing this in honor of the great memory we shared. Got here by accident and service was top notch. It was a true bottomless mimosa and the waitress was super attentive. Food could be better, but I'd say still pretty decent. The vibe inside was also great with good music. You will be missed!

Sekend sun was one of my favorite spots in a Astoria! Unfortunately it's closing this weekend, but it was a great staple of mine in my home borough. I have been to a few happy hours with my gym here and had a great time and have also been with many friends and will miss just having this as an option for a good bar with food to go to in Astoria. My favorite day to go was on Tuesdays when they had a $10 burger and beer deal which was such a steal (with bingo as well). The cocktails are so tasty and they also had HH on weekdays until 8pm. The music was always on point and the staff were always so friendly. You will be missed Sekend sun!

great place and great deals during the weekdays. The staff awesome and super friendly! Deff a place to keep coming back to, First came here it was super packed but that was my fault considering i came during peak hours. Over time learned to come a bit off peak hours and stick around. Why well because during the offpeak hours they run different specials from day to day and it is best to call to see what they have. I try to aim for the day they have a burger and beer combo why because the options they have do pair well with the burger. The burger is best well asked for medium well and the house beer. Make sure to get the hot sauce they have as well. Also be sure to get their frozen drink they have prepped for the day. The place is one that is fairly active and always has a great vibe whether your on your own or in a group.

Good food, superb drinks and incredible atmosphere. This local gathering spot is lively and offer great weekday specials, most noticeably the Tuesday Burger and Beer for just $10. Yes you heard correctly. I can't think of a better deal out there, its cheaper than fast food and twice the fun. Great lively staff togo along with outstanding music.

Food was delish, attentive staff, chill atmosphere. Came here with some girlfriends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our food. Shared some veggie dumplings that were divine! Not pictured was the burger, salmon, and fried chicken sandwich. All of which we enjoyed.

Came here on a rainy day for weekend brunch. Disclaimer: I used a pulsd pass which imo was worth it! The mimosas were so refreshing. My French toast dish was just okay...was hoping for a fluffier texture. My partner enjoyed his burger. It was incredibly easy to find seating as I guess not many people come here for brunch. I'll definitely be back in the evening for a drink but not really sure if I'll come back for brunch.

Come here often for trivia and gotta say this is one of my favorite places in Astoria, if not the whole city. To start off Kat, our bartender / server always has the best service, getting our orders in quickly and making sure we always have water and full drinks. The food here is always a hit. Our favorite is definitely the loaded tots, but you can't really go wrong with anything. The sekend sun IPA is my go to drink but also they have always have some kind of seasonal or specialty drink that's always changing. Last time they had a barbie cocktail for the movie! We've also come for brunch and their mimosa flight is also a great way to get a buzz going for a good price along with their great food. Overall, a great place in the neighborhood with a ton of daily specials. Will continue to show up here!

Last Sunday evening, I walked in to treat a friend for her birthday. The drinks were good. Strong. I had really good service, and I enjoyed the time here. The music was top 40 and R & B from the 90's so I already loved the vibe. Later in the evening, they had an impromptu salsa class. I love dancing! That made it even more fun to visit. I heard it's every 2nd Sunday evening a month. Let's see.

Conveniently located near the subway, good staff and ambiance and drinks. I love the back patio! Finally got to check out the Tuesday burger special as well as the margarita special - both are great! Even though I've been here a bunch of times I can't resist taking photos of the Queens themed neon signs.
